This phrase is starting to get overused ... way too much. It allows people to feed relentlessly .. and then they simply say those four magical words and guess what? They may as well have received the immunity necklace from survivor. Plat 5 quinn in a S2-G4 game. Kid goes 1/13/3 ... Enemy ADC is fed 4/0 before 5 minutes ( really ridiculous, especially for Plat). Who gets the blame? The mid AP Ezreal that went 11/7 of course because "you didn't roam". Karthus never left lane, in fact put pressure on lane, so I was forced to counter said pressure. But it is still my fault (Thanks Nasus top, forgot you're the league pro at Silver 2) that Quinn lost lane, why didn't I roam, I should've roamed. Didn't realize it's my job to pick up the 8 kills you fed before 9 minutes, when I would have an actual item to do damage. Whoops. The Morgana support didn't even die that much. Just Quinn. After game chat - "Enjoy the ban Quinn, intentionally feeding like that" (Mind you she would go into Quinn ult and fly as fast as possible from base straight at an enemy, pop out of ult and die)... "Wasn't feeding I tried my hardest" Oh guess who's saved. You said the four magical words, "I tried my hardest" This game is getting pathetic, I may just up and quit playing again, because the players are getting worse and worse, this dynamic queue is allowing bronze players to reach a higher ranking than they should ever be allowed to see, and it's just kids who want to report nowadays over things that are irrelevant. (You died 13 times you're a noob) ("Omg this kids a bully please report") .. not bullying. It's called the truth. Also, I did check his past match history. Never once did he feed. He actually did well in EVERY single game inside of his match history aside from this one. But don't worry. This kid will be allowed to continue to randomly troll because Riot doesn't care. As long as he isn't toxic he's safe. You can feed, you could hack in and join the enemy team and play 6v4 and Riot wouldn't care, as long as you did not call anyone a noob. Do something with these kids ruining everyones matches. I'd rather have 4 assholes calling me and eachothers noobs than 1 moron feeding 13 kills and ruining the game completely. The fact that you're only 20% of the team and have to rely on 80% more of players, and just one more 20% can ruin it, is Aggrivating. "So why don't you just carry" You can't carry every single game,Not with the itemization and champs today. Maybe if you were a Pro/Challenger against some lowly bronze/silvers. Sigh. TlDR: This games retarded

not everyone who feeds does it intentionally and sometimes people have bad games due to poor decisions.

While saying things like "I tried" doesn't justify or rectify the mistakes made, it's meant to show their intentions and indicate that they are having a bad game over intentionally feeding.

It's the difference between stupid plays and trolling.

There was someone banned the other day for intentionally feeding on Ryze, so they do care and try to handle it.

Language recognition is relatively easy, many companies offer products to help other companies get the most out of it. Combine that with League having a reputation for having the most toxic community, it's no surprise that the first priority was addressing that. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Troll behavior isn't nearly as easy to detect. The patterns vary game to game, so there's no universal plug-and-play solution. That said, Riot's got a system that works in some super obvious cases (repeatedly running mid with 6 tears, 6 boots, etc), and last we heard they were working on making improvements to that system. I think they have looking at that Ryze players game. He bragged about how he had the most CS on his team, how he could one-shot Trist late in the game, etc, but he still got hit with a 2 week ban. He was Silver 4 too, so he could maybe have pulled the "I'm just bad" card, except he kept running towards the enemy tower when he got his face bashed in by his lane opponent.
