ranked requirements

When I first started playing league I thought it was lame you had to get to lvl 30 before you could play ranked but now I'm asking myself if even that is enough. In the past week I have played with people who have played normals since season 3, 4 or even just started last year. But some people even with hundreds of normal games under their belt play like, God I don;t even know how to describe it. Nasus top lane dies 4 times to panthion then continually dives on him after the first 4 deaths. fighting an enemy varus who does the same thing, I get 3 kills on him and he continues to run at me and my support like anything is going to be different. My issue for a long time was that I just played over and over and over. I didn;t try to figure out what I was doing wrong, I built the same things over and over without actually figuring out what I should build but now I;ve been taking the time to learn the little things. I just sometimes feel there should be a bit more of a requirement to participate in ranked play. One huge issue I;ve been having is when game loads and someone decides to say "first time zed:)" all I can think is WHY DO THIS IN RANKED??? you wanna try a new champ go in normals. I use to champion hop alll the time (over a year ago) it never works out long term. I learned my lesson with that one. I guess because I'm actually putting in effort, learning things, asking advice from better players, watching pro players, that it is sooooo blood boiling frustrating watching some of these people play. All i can think sometimes is 'me and the people I'm playing with are human beings, with a body and mind, how on god's green earth could someone be that stupid'

Ahhh, finally someone feels the same way.

Oh, but don't forget the people that keep telling you to "blame yourself not the team"

God I fucking hate this community

I mean you could blame everyone but yourself but that wont change your games. If you think to yourself "what could I do differently to win" you'd have a better chance of climbing rather than "it's my teams fault I lose. I'm perfect and don't need to change anything." There's a reason people are bronze and are stuck and people that are challenger and can get multiple accounts there.

Yeah if ur bronze u definitely can't have a mentality of blaming your team and should just forget about what your rank is and focus on finding out what you need to improve yourself to climb. You die a ton like every game. If you get lots of kills and die much then you wont be able to carry. There's literally SO much you can improve. Don't even think about your team just /ignore all and improve.

I'm all for taking accountability for my own actions, things I did wrong, things I could have done different or better. This thread was not intended to be a "my team lost me this game" I'm talking in general. I just had a game where the enemy adc fed 3 kills to my adc before giving up on bottom completely so he went mid with his midlaner and died another 2 times there before going afk. SO the other team in this scenario was there loss not because of this adc or atleast a HUGE part of it. because by the logic I;m hearing it wasn;lt his fault the others on that team should have just done better. sure they could have done better individually but that adc really put a hole in their chances. Again this thread wasn't supose to be a who blames who thread

well read your original post and you notice it's all about how stupid your team mates are, right?

I'll tell you something special: bronze and silver players are generally super toxic and troll. It's easy to become like them if you interact with them. /mute all in all of your games and stop interacting with mentally retarded 7 year olds. You will climb if you are good. You are the one constant in all your games so play your best in each game and if you lose look what you did wrong rather than ur team and you'll just keep getting better and you'll be able to climb.

Doesn't matter if you have a troll int feeding every lane then afk. Play your game the way you know best how to, don't let it affect you, win or lose, then go play your next game if you still have a good mood. If you feel like shit, if you feel angry, tired, depressed, tilty, etc... just don't play until you feel certain that you will be contributing to your team.

Try 3 simple things:

  1. Focus on NOT DYING
  2. Practice last hitting minions
  3. Use your wards and look at the map as much as possible
