the biggest thing hindering getting these right now, is getting the blue essence, or shards/permanents of the character - not what it should be, which would be getting the S ranks...

it taking months or even longer to get these bc of arbitrary things you get randomly (and you get them far too slowly) seems to be improperly balanced, when obviously your skill as that champion should be the thing hindering you from getting these masteries.

remove the need for blue essence / champ tokens, and leave it to just getting the S- or S ranks

Soon there will be chests you can get that will give you the shard needed.

Yeah no. There will be a Champion Shard Chest added that can be bought with IP or RP, so you will be fine. It was said right in the Patch Notes on release and they've recently added the assets to the PBE.

No, you failed to read that the IP/RP Champion shards are part of the mastery 6 & 7 design, since the beginning; it was stated at the release of mastery 6 & 7. The only reason that they got released separately and not all at once, is because of the impatience and pressure from the league community, to get it immediately released. The same impatience that's caused you to start this thread, because you haven't received the mastery 6 & 7 fast enough to meet your expectations. The IP/RP values haven't been calculated yet, until now; everything that gets released into the live servers goes through testing in the PBE, and this requires time.

more like the incompleteness of the system shows

its odd getting all of my S ranks and just waiting on arbitrary costs uninvolved with how skilled you are at a champ / how much youve played it, knowing that how it is now, would take months of waiting with all requirements met long ago (besides said arbitrary costs)

necessary? its possible to state published info without coming off so... ... ... idk what... annoyed someone missed some info? esp since it isnt out yet

if it bothers u so much try just ignoring the post next time and move on. not everyone lives and breathes all that is league and wont read every article that comes out about it. you should be a little more lenient when someone isnt aware the system that just came out is half complete

Yeah, no. Not at all. Try reading again, as they were never changing it cause it's perfectly fine. The pieces are just being released separately.

i got 500 blue essence in 2 days without buying any chests.

all I had to do is get 3 S's

you gotta scrap your champion shards to get the blue stuff. if you've gotten a chest for getting an S on a champ already you wont be able to do it on that champ again for the rest of the season.

I got all the essence I need for level 6 ahri in just a few days
