the biggest thing hindering getting these right now, is getting the blue essence, or shards/permanents of the character - not what it should be, which would be getting the S ranks...

it taking months or even longer to get these bc of arbitrary things you get randomly (and you get them far too slowly) seems to be improperly balanced, when obviously your skill as that champion should be the thing hindering you from getting these masteries.

remove the need for blue essence / champ tokens, and leave it to just getting the S- or S ranks

Soon there will be chests you can get that will give you the shard needed.

Yeah no. There will be a Champion Shard Chest added that can be bought with IP or RP, so you will be fine. It was said right in the Patch Notes on release and they've recently added the assets to the PBE.

i got 500 blue essence in 2 days without buying any chests.

all I had to do is get 3 S's

The real issue hindering is that is a vehicle for a scam.
