Why does everyone take Dark Harvest?

Such a nice variety. When both teams have Dark Harvest and you're like [sg-lux-2]. Only to realize it got buffed so hard that it's basically the go-to rune for anyone lmao.

When my team says "Why aren't you taking DH" like i'm trolling or something. Really love the new runes, really gives players a variety of what to choose!

Never had so many options to pick, such a great update!

Dark Harvest is basically Ugandan Knuckles. Useless by itself, lethal in packs.

But it isn't outside of Aram ?

its meant to be a scaling rune so it will keep its strength for late game but its strong early too but electrocute level but the power is already there

People like dark harvest for the same reason people like veigar. Popping people is fun late game.

Dark Harvest is getting nerfed in the next patch for exactly this reason

To be fair the rune is lackluster when only one player uses it, and it's terrifying when a whole team uses it. The damage by itself is mediocre, but considering how easy it is to proc it then 5-men DH teams are going to pop that <50% HP dude in no time.

An easy fix is attaching a CD to the attacked champion so it can't be proced on him more than once every X seconds. Also, lowering the base damage BUT increasing the damage per procs.

This way, only those who really want to use the rune will use it and chasing DH procs will be rewarding.
