[Suggestion] Ashe passive change

Currently Ashe has a passive that forces her to play passive in lane to take advantage of it. It doesn't fit with the current state of her role as a marksmen that by default is suppose to auto attack both minions and champions.

I have 2 very different suggestions that could make her passive more useful than it's current state.

#1: Last hitting a minion does not break focus charging. This is the more minor change which still forces ashe to play passive, but allows her to at least farm on some level without completely rendering her passive ability null. No other change would be required, as the 3 second cooldown if you miss a last hit or poke isn't horrible, but losing focus charge every time you do what every ADC is required to do...FARM...is annoying as teemo.

.

#2: Focus implies focusing on something to hit...therefore, Ashe should passively gain focus the longer she keeps sight of a target. Instead of gaining stacks for not attacking she gains stack when she is near any enemy observing their movements and habits and allowing her to predict the perfect shot. No more free crit at level 1, but you will get one eventually...also her focus should rapidly drop after a few seconds of losing sight of all enemy champions. This allows for counter play using bushes and ward control.

I love playing Ashe but i feel her passive in its current form is counter to the play style demanded by Marksmen. It feels more like a passive geared for a support, and while I do play some support Ashe, it's not generally accepted by the community as legit. A change to allow more on par aggressive play and farming with other ADC without nullifing the passives usefulness would be greatly appreciated.

That is not a good change at all. Before you argue with me, let me point out just 1 thing.

With ashe's toggle skill ('q'), all champions being AA'ed are pretty much immobile (especially on adc's such as caitlyn), because of that, enemy champions can never be hiding in the bush (hence lowering her focus) without taking a substantial amount of damage due to the increasing focus. If this change is allowed, you have invented something that is worse than a critical strike master yi/yasuo, but only this time, with slow every auto attack committed.

Your argument remains valid, however. Ashe's passive shouldn't be nullified whenever she perform creep kill. Focus shall still accumulate whenever she's not being hit/hitting other champion.

Regaurding example #2: At level 1 it would takes 28 seconds on continual vision to give ashe 1 guaranteed crit. That means basicly 1 crit per creep wave after the first if you don't get counter played by having enemies use bushes to delay and degrade your charge.

Even at higher levels with Crit chance items it takes 5 to 10 sec to build up a focus critical. In late game her 1st auto was always a crit in a fight, now she has to risk being in sight to max it 1st and if a fight goes down she likely gets maybe 1 more off before she is dead or the enemy is dead.

Her charge rate could also be tweeked to scale up off the number of nearby visible enemies, as opposed to just by level, making it once again harder to build focus except during very short periods of time like seigies and team fights.

Also...I don't see how her slow...which definitely does not completely Imobilize, affects an enemies ability to use bushes to drop out if sight. Every second.you are out of sight she gains no focus and after 3 seconds it begins dropping rapidly. You could potentially keep her from ever building focus crits this way without forcing her to ward, and thus giving you gold for using red trinket.

Anyways, it's just an idea that will probably get zero attention by RIOT anyways. Personally I like the 1st one better as its more a QoL change than an overhaul.

Most ADCs don't have a passive that discourages farming to be useful either. 😜
