Heaven forbid there's a champion in this game who does their job by way of something other than damage.

The problem is that they do CC AND damage, I think. Especially Swain.

Not a whole lot though. What they bring to the table is the ability to control a large number of enemies. Swain does that partially through CC and partially through damage.

Well Swain's CC doesn't really prevent you from doing anything other then chasing or escaping as it simply inhibits movement and if you have the same range or higher range then swain you can just keep fighting Swain if he is running at you And if Swain is running from you... well too bad he got away unless you have some mobility to catch up to swain since he has non (and his only way to get away is to CC the enemies trying to chase him)

you can literally dash out of his q to avoid most of the damage and slow

you can literally walk out of w

if you want to talk about cc, there are plenty of other champions

swain has to predict where you are GOING TO BE, since the root has a delay, the slow is short range cast but it has a long range after being casted, so hes only going to move in to use it IF he lands the root he will E , Q , R in your face so move unpredictably, costs a lot of mana to throw a snare and miss it

keep at a distance from her , avoid her Q , not much you can do about her ninja ulting you and half the team though...
