Which rework made you enjoy a champion more and which one made you stop playing a champion?

I play more Kha'Zix and Zyra when I can but tbf I never really played old Kha so can't say much about him. Zyra became much stronger.

I play less/don't play LeBlanc anymore because she is probably the most boring mid laner/ champion in the game with a clunky kit that relies on gunblade and delays instead off quick assassination, want to get rid off the level 7 I have on her and all the skins I got because this champ is nothing like the one I spammed for a long time.

Personally I hated the Zyra rework because it killed mid Zyra, which is the funnest way to play her. The original Sona rework probably goes down as the worst rework for me though. I'm also fairly worried about the Sejuani rework on the PBE, although thankfully unlike every other rework for a champ I play the Rioter in charge seems to be taking feedback seriously, so it could still end OK.

While I hate it less than the reworks I listed above as of yet the only one that's made me fully stop playing a champion was Shen's. I just don't enjoy him at all anymore.

I think the last exceptional rework Riot performed was Ashe's small scale rework. That was an example of Riot keeping everything that made the champion unique and actually paying respect to the original champion. Before that both Sejuani's original rework and Yi's rework were very good.

I stopped playing Katarina after her rework.

There was nothing wrong with the rework, I was just too scrub to play her well anymore.

Annie especially screwed me over. The new Tibbers is as dumb as a headless chicken and the stun counter took away a lot of Annie's surprise factor.

Personally I enjoy reworks, but I'll admit some just don't work (despite how much I feel about that champion in general).

For example: I absolutely HATED Malzahar before and after his rework. Still kinda do. But after seeing his main strength of the rework (minions) nerfed to oblivion, I have to wonder if there was a point to reworking him instead of just nerfing his pool ult combo.

Failed reworks are the result of trying to keep portions of the original kit in game when it's clear that those portions don't really work or can't be balanced. Leading to full VGUs to better identify the champion. We have yet to get a full VGU from on of the failed reworks however, which I think should be Riots next attempt at a VGU.

Reworks I'm not a fan of or are meh: Fiora Khazix Galio Karma Katarina KogMaw Poppy Ryze Shyvana Sivir Soraka Tristana Twitch Warwick Yorick but like seriously both malz and morde should be reverted....

Mordekaiser The CertainlyT Rework made me Quit League for 1 year. The Balance teams fix for Morde is bearable in small doses. It's why I continually take 2 week breaks from league

Skarner was hands down my favorite jungler before his rework, and I never play him now. The crystal mini game is no fun at all in my opinion. He was perfectly fine before the rework and only needed small number tweaks.

Sion is probably my favorite rework since I didn't like playing him before, but love playing him now. But he does need nerfs to his base damage, he does way too much damage for a tank with just one damage item.

Sion Rework is fantastic. Fiora Was a terrible misdirection. I agree that Fiora needed a rework, but all Riot did was turn her into a total chore to lane against. She is up there with Jayce on my list of: "Most annoying top laners to play against."

Malzahar's rework is notoriously disliked among mains. His passive is very binary and hard to balance, and the current version of his w punishes mid laners and rewards supports (ie low scaling, 'high' base damage, very hard to keep alive in the aoe- and waveclear- focused midlane, but very easy against early game ads and supports).

I couldn't stop playing Heimerdinger and Talon because of those turrets and that parkour traveling. Gangplank , eh, he's okay. It just takes time for me to get use to him. Viktor has been reworked as well but that will also take time for me to master. My fingers hurt when I try to play him. I have Xerath and he's good. I was just busy playing as other champions but I'll get to him eventually. Tristana , maybe this is the champion I won't be playing as much. The design doesn't seem so appealing to me. But once I get that rocketeer skin, then we'll get to business. Caitlyn's a nice rework but I also don't play her as much. Like I said, I'm too busy playing the others. Corki, oh boy, when he was gifted that package, I was hyped. He is my main and eversince they buffed him, I couldn't help but play him constantly. I just wish they didn't completely remove that air raid siren and just put in a censor option.

Poppy Yorick - I practically mained/is maining these 2 after their reworks. Quinn - That rework made Quinn less appealing for me. I'm sorry, but I like the dynamic duo aspect (even though it could have been improved).

After rengar rework I basically lost all enjoyment from LoL and now only play to try to climb but i dont have fun.

I havent touched Kha since the update. I Hate it. It was terrible. It Ruined him for me. Kha Zix used to be an assassin that HAD to use isolation or he literally did 0 damage, but the second someone was isolated he could actually one shot them. It made him one of the most unique and interesting assassins in the game. The update turned him into a generic dive in assassin who doesnt have to utilize the thing that made him unique to actually be able to do his job and kill someone. Kha went from Unique to Generic. Worst rework riot has ever done.

Gangplank. While I miss his old joke. the new GP is incredible and really captured the old spirit of the champ but made him an actually playable champion.

Yorick Galio - Was interested in Yorick pre-rework, but didn't like his gameplay, loved him post-rework. Loved Galio pre-rework, absolutely loved him post-rework (barring the ability name "Justice Punch")

After Yorick's Rework, I played him straight up to Mastery Rank 7, and I hope to get Galio up there, too. Riot pulled off some really great stuff with these two reworks IMO.

Taric. Just bought the guy because he was beasting on aram. Then...a few days later they turned him into Fabio. He's easily the worst champion out there now. The invincibility ult is so pathetic its not even funny. He used to have damage...then they turned it into a passive 'yi' double strike type of thing. He telegraphs so hard, with all the dodge and dashes in the game, its simply too easy to juke him. Besides that the visual rework is appalling. I'm talking about his face. Where he was actually somewhat cool, and yes, needed a rework, they turned him into fruity pebbles.

Nugalio is another one. I refuse to call him by his old name Again, just bought the guy...and rito fucks him up like its no tomorrow. The look on his face makes me think of the designer who hated him and wanted to mock the real Galio mains (not that I'm one of them btw). How do you go from stoic looking colorfully dark gargoyle to a white version of 'The Tick' with wings? That chin and grin....can't get over it. I like the kit other than him not being a flying champion anymore. The ultimate is meh however. Its cool but just way too situational and supporty. The big team fight ult was awesome. You knew if he could make it to the end a ton of people were dying...especially on ARAM.

Fiora: Now Cruela D'ville. Liked the old ultimate...which...they gave to none other than Yasuo who I hate with a passion because of all the bads that play him trying to be pro and his stupid overloaded kit...back to fiora...the new ultimate is clunky to pull off and only somewhat rewarding...like when your team is with you...just doesn't fit really.

Mordekaiser: So much potential lost on trying to shoe him into bottom. Sad really.

Poppy: Loved the rework all around but miss the little hammer to the knee a bit. Easily my favorite rework so far. The new ult is so much better than the old. Love it.

It sounds like I'm going to hate the Sejuani update. Everyone is complaining about it and Rito's reasoning for it is completely oddball. She needed help and the 'sunfire cape thing' was the knot in the kit and that's going to passive...so another passive to play around it looks like = another completely underplayed champ.

Taric Karma Sivir Sivir is somewhat similar to what she used to be but in short bursts like Evelynn. Karma and Taric aren't anywhere close to what they were. Taric has no armor reduction and no AD steroid so AD Taric died along with AP taric. Karma lost her passive bonus ap, her old Q which made her a deceptively strong champ when low on health. The only thing that was left was Mantra and her shield.
