531 AP Syndra 5 sphere ult: 1431 premitigation magic damage ( 180 + 106.2 per sphere) mitigated by 0 MR (receives 100% of premitigation damage) = 1431 damage.
Thunderlords Decree: 245 if it uses Syndra's magic pen or 188 if it doesn't.
total damage: 2053.5 or 1996.5
With a Null Magic Mantle (25 MR) for 450g the total damage received would instead be 1397 (316 + 923 + 158)
Syndra would still kill LB 1v1 with just an R even if LB had a negatron.
She didn't need a negatron, just a mantle.
