Tryndamere's Ultimate

I think it needs a small nerf to bring it in line. Specifically, slightly reducing the ability to cast his ultimate under Crowd Control. It currently can be cast under any form of control.

I think suppressing effects should actually disable its cast.

Why? Because summoner spells (including cleanse) cannot be used against suppression. Why should Tryndamere have an ultimate that ignores suppression when all current suppression effects require a channel (including Skarner, even though he is able to move during the channel). There is no other champion skill in the game that can ignore suppression. The only ability that can break suppression is QSS and it's upgrade, Mercurial Scimitar, which is mostly reasonable due to a 90 second cooldown.

I feel Tryndamere's ultimate should be allowed to ignore most CC, just not suppression.

Gangplank's W, Morgana's E, Spell shields, Olaf's ult.

Otherwise, giving it a specific caveat that the specifically castable under hard CC skill can't actually be cast under the almost always 100% fatal hard CC is rather... specific.

Morgana's E cannot remove CC effects applied before Black Shield is on the target. Spell Shields only work when cast just before the suppression skill and cannot otherwise prevent it.

Gangplank's W shares the same vulnerability as QSS, but with a lower cooldown. Gangplank is also a pretty weak champion.

Olaf's Ultimate is designed to help him deal with crowd control, and is probably the only skill I can consider reasonable for breaking suppression.

in addition, the only suppression skill that will usually kill on its own is Malzahar's ultimate. Urgot's, Skarner's and Warwick's generally won't be enough on their own and usually require a team effort to maximize the damage during the suppression.

ill trade that for going back to its 8 second duration.

How about we meet halfway and go 6.5 seconds?

if you get rid of the delay then that should work.

Silence works well against him.

I don't recall silence stopping Tryndamere from using his ultimate.
