With Soraka, do I just become completely useless against anyone who decides to build a Mortal Reminder?
40% of my healing goes, so I am at 60% effectiveness. Can someone give me ideas on a counter-up to this? I just see a very uneven type of play if the enemy adc has a choice to make a Soraka half a champion.

Mortal reminder is usually someone's third or fourth item, by the time someone gets it you're already falling off. Your only goal as soraka is too help late game adc's like Jinx, Vayne and Twitch get past the laning phase and into the mid/late game where they will carry you. By this time they will most likely 2-3 shots everything and won't need you anyway because of warlord/heal/lifesteal.
Simple solution: Dont play soraka.
Generally soraka is weak right now because of the INSANE NERFS ON HER HEALS forcing you to max W or you will be useless in lane and if you dont lane Qs, you will have 0 sustain
