Aery No Longer Works on Zilean's Time Warp

I used to play Aery on Zilean for the shield he could grant when boosting someone's speed, but after the last patch I don't see it applying it anymore. This was not listed in any of the hotfixes I've read, and really changes the playstyle. I was able to use time warp as a more useful defensive. Can someone speak on this?
