are ip boosts even a thing anymore?

i remembered that there were ip boosts you could buy with rp to help grind and so i went looking for them and couldn't find them. did you remove them?

They removed them so people wouldn't accidentally screw themselves by having an active ip boost when preseason hits, since when preseason and the new leveling system arrives people won't get IP after games anymore.

and in the meantime nobody can use them to farm ip?

Correct. It maybe seems premature to those who play somewhat more regularly, but I presume they have their own data for how long people sit on their ip boosts and they wanted to minimise the potential for the longest holders to screw themselves.

Best bet is to farm away, and potentially also get honour 3+ (if not already), then hope for capsules with champion shards in addition to normal IP gains from the game you're playing anyway.

ok but what about those of us who are close and want to farm the remaining ip for the be store thats going to open with the rework that everyone hates but riot is going to do anyway because they dont care

There's also no reason to use them to farm IP anymore.

You want a champ? buy it directly with RP, the ratio was always better for any 3150, 4800 or 6300 champion and you really don't need help buying 450 or 1350 champs You want runes? they're 10 IP each
