So why don't people get an LP refund when someone trolls/ints the game? like if one person is intentionally losing the game and causing 4 other people to lose lp. that person is banned for their toxic behavior and violation of conduct. why dont the 4 other players who played seriously and worked through the whole game not get their lp back? they didnt do anything to deserve the loss it was a fixed game. I'm sure im not the only one whod like it if when someone intentionally lost a game and was banned for it they got their lp back. and to be specific this would be for players banned for trolling or inting. not regular toxicity. just for players banned for directly and intentionally causing a loss by doing something like locking in mf smite support and following the jgler around stealing his camps or running it down mid (both things that have happened to me).

Here is the problem is that if they introduce this system, how do you tell the difference at higher elos?

At lower elos its much easier to see. At higher elos one small mistake can be the game, simply just being too close to a wall against a Talon, or not having a ward in a certain area etc.

On top of that, how would you tell the difference between someone who is playing bad and someone is actually intentionally trolling?

Because there are games where people play awfully. I've gone 0/11 because I was tilted off the face of the planet in a ranked game. And then the next game I went 12/2.

Do you think Riot has the man power to watch every single one of your games, to determine if he was trolling?

Or do you let riot make a system that makes you lose LP because someone on the enemy team int'd against you.

This is a no one wins situation.

Because if they make this system guess what happens. You just lose LP for playing, you might not have had the person inting in your lane and now feel like you spent 20-25 minutes doing nothing because that LP you gained was removed from your account.

If I can climb with these players, then you don't really have an excuse for not climbing.

Would you also accept returning undeserved LP gained?

If no, then there will be LP inflation.

If yes, then the returning system will remove more LP than it gives out. It would have to take LP from 5 players on the winning team and only give back LP to 4 players of the losing team. That means, on average, that the compensatory mechanic will remove more LP from you than you currently lose from trolls/inters.

Because it creates more problems than it solves, in short. It sucks, but it also evens out over time.
