Weekly reminder that Nautilus is the worst champion in the game

Hi, Nautilus has been in the gutter for most of the season, sporting both laughable playrate and winrate in both toplane and support. Additionally, though people tried to play him jungle again after the buffs, his jungle playrate quickly dived back to zero after people realized that they did nothing to fix his underwhelming clear speed and heavy mana issues. Many people have started threads or posted comments about it on Meddler posts, often suggesting potential fixes, but to no avail. Right now, Nautilus is basically a worse and more clunky Sejuani. But now, with even Ekko getting buff to his jungle clear speed, can we please talk about Nautilus ?

Naut is good top lane still. Good enough to be played at Worlds even.

Nautilus is a terrible toplaner, with a 45% winrate and a 0.71% playrate, making him objectively the worse toplaner in the game except maybe ryze, far behind even mordekaiser, udyr or volibear top. The only reason he was played at worlds is because of his pick potential, but his lane is so bad he is unplayable in soloQ, just like ryze (who btw also requires some solid mechanics, while nautilus is just as bad in everyone hands).

There are at least half a dozen champions weaker than Naut right now. At least Naut still has decent cc and can get tanky. If you want to talk about champs that are actually bad, just look at: Teemo Ryze Shaco Mordekaiser Udyr Volibear Skarner Fiddlesticks Karthus

They all have better winrate than Nautilus in every single lane except Ryze. Yes, volibear top has a better winrate than Nautilus in plat+. Nautilus has decent playmaking with a team because he has good pick potential, but his lane is so weak he is unplayable in solo Q.
