For those of you who don't play top lane, here is what a top laner who desires some excitement in his games experiences on the reg

Never before as I have played since Season 4 has it been so near impossible to solo carry as a top laner. Ima try and keep this short and sweet. This shit is getting rediculous

As someone who actually likes to try and kill their opponent in lane and not be the adc's little bitch and press buttons, I like to play bruisers. I chose Camille because she is the only bruiser in the meta right now.

I get fed af early on Camille and get my first death when I have 8 kills so I'm 8/1. The enemy Tristana at this time is 7/5. Viktor is fed too. Seems like we have the game in the bag. Right?

Wrong. Like an idiot, I forgot about the rediculous damage that ADCs pump out after completing just two items and I get melted in a team fight. We slip up a little. Not to worry, Camille and Kayn are both good at targeting squishies and we're still way ahead. We can even dodge Nami's ult with our ults! Viktor can focus the rest of their team and since Xayah is weak, it is unlikely Skarner will use ult on her. So she can attack from range like ad carries do. Right?

Wrong. Alas, my Xayah is silver III causing her to find a way to die even though no one on the enemy team is focusing her or does damage!

From here on out any of us hoping to focus the adc are stopped by the rediculously short cooldowns everyone has now to provide peel and we just get repeatedly melted by the two item completed Tristana.

The enemy team comes back and ends up winning the game. Tristana ends 17/7. http://prntscr.com/ifs1mb

And sure, Trist had a lot of farm compared to me. But since your impact as a top laner is 0 in Season 8, I chose to take advantage of Camille's kit , which makes her strong in the current meta and try and make plays all over the map in order to carry my team. I even ended up having the most kill participation and it was worthwhile because Teamwork OP right and teamwork wins games! Right?

Wrong. You win if you win the coin toss of which team gets the better adc in champ select. This is literally what this game has become. And RIOT, if I had picked a tank they would have won the game in 20 minutes because no one would have been able to match their ADC as mine was trash. What good would being able to peel for my adc have done? Fuck all

Balance team, with the amount of damage you allow ADCs to put out after just 2 items you may as well just start taking Tristana cannon balls up your ass. You'd love it.

Of course, you'd have to get your head out first

I bet you also made a lot of stupid fights/decisions getting tris this fed, camil+kayn can delete her easy, but cant tell that off just score.

top laners have one of the most impactful roles and is the best to carry with. I've played many games where the person who got fed didn't win the game. Whether it be the adc, mid or top laner.

So if this is what top laners are complaining about then i have to say cry more.

And you were playing one of the best champs in the game and dare complain about adc's. Lol

So you're playing camille and complaining about trist?

You do know camille is one of the best champs in the game right now, probably stronger than trist right? (look at pick/ban rates in high elo).

Camille is broken, there are challengers with over 70% win rates with her, if you cant carry with her ur just not good.

You didn't build right tho, imo.

Sterak's > Maw in pretty much any scenario because it greatly increases the true damage of your Q while also providing more all-purpose late game defense. The difference between a completed maw and a completed sterak's is nearly 200 true damage on your Q.

Also, deadman's wouldn't have been nearly as valuable as a randuin's omen. As Camille you're incredibly mobile and impossible to escape solo, so the extra movement speed of deadman's is a little unnecessary, and randuin's is the best tank item in the game for cutting into ADC damage.

You also would have been better-served going either full carry Camille or bruiser. If you were really as ahead as you said probably carry.

This is your full build if you are really looking to hard carry. But, it might have been a better idea to build more tanky to frontline for your team, since your Kayn apparently when shadow assassin.

and that's why I stopped playing top. Because riot doesn't give a shit about it or bruisers and will keep letting ADC's be busted beyond shit and I would like to get plat this year so i am just going to abuse for my freelo.

The funny thing is that Camille is probably the only non-adc in the game that is capable of carrying a game RN.

Its not a top lane issue. Their Bot Lane won so you have a significantly higher chance of losing. If they swapped places having your bot win and having your top lose you would of had a better chance honestly.
