Renekton or Darius Top?

Hello everyone! I am looking for a new top laner since I lack many top laners (I main jungle). I am currently in Gold V and I was hoping for a fun top laner with good carry potential. The 2 that I have had my eye on for a while is Darius and Renekton. I know how darius works since hes free right now and ive been play him a lot. But there is just something about renekton that draws me to him. So my question is who is better when mastered and for good potential in Gold Elo! Thanks and have a nice day.

renekton has more potential for outplay and has a defensive ultimate. Darius has more damage and dueling potential but is easily kited. Renekton takes more finesse to use and manage fury, while darius is fairly straightforward to play.

Totally agree. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Too be brutally honest. If you not an amazing LoL player you will have more luck with Darius due to a higher skill cap with Renekton... But...when it comes right down to it I have seen more crazy shit from good Renektons then I ever have from a good Darius.

That's probably because Darius is feast or famine, destroy the laner or get destroyed. His kit is also pretty straight forward, but I consider it toxic, a lot of others do as well.

But Renekton is pretty fun, and he's fairly easy to pick up.

Renekton is more fun. A bit harder to master, but offers more outplay potential than Darius.

Sadly both of them suffer from fall off late game due to being in the fighter class. In the end you will be nothing more than a meat shield for your team either way.
