So i got that new awesome teemo skin, rly that's the most awesome skin i have ever seen and first one i decided to get but after when i decided to play some games with teemo i noticed that people often rage and even say - report for troll pick, is teemo that bad now and i have just wasted money? :/
Most people (the people who don't play him) hate Teemo. Teammates hate him because he doesn't add much to teamfights and is squishy. They underestimate the vision control, CC, and damage his shrooms provide. Enemies hate him because he's the "annoying fly" of laning. He whittles down any enemies that can't kill him (the ones that don't outrange him or have no gap closer and damage abilities), and he's practically ungankable after level 6. He's a good splitpusher, too. Everyone "hates" Teemo because he's one of League's most iconic and lovable characters, but he's also one of the most painful to play against.
I wouldn't call him a "troll pick" (there are no champions that are entirely unviable, in my opinion), but he doesn't have many good matchups anymore. The few top laners that he's good against (again, no gapclosers or strong poking abilities) are fairly rare. He struggles against mages and strong all-in champions that don't rely on their autoattacks too much.
If you master him, he's helpful in his own way against any enemy team (mushrooms and splitpushing), but he's really vulnerable in lane. He doesn't add much to a team besides his mushrooms (which got nerfed very hard several months ago) and AP DPS.
It really depends on where you take him. He is a good counterpick on top, and I enjoy jungling with him. He is however a TERRIBLE ADC or support, and I have never seen a teemo do anything but die terribly in mid lane.
teemo is terrible, so yes it's a troll pick. had one on my team in ranked (quote: "it's my main") and he goes 1/10. I randomly do a normal one day on riven, someone plays teemo with that skin on against me top and I solo kill him 5 times in lane.
you're a pest in lane and then outside of it all you do is add nothing to team fights, get destroyed if a team sends someone to respond to your split push and just annoy people through simply being in their game.
the problem with teemo is that after the shroom nerf he is basically useless beyond being a dedicated split pusher... which he is actually ridiculously good at if played correctly.
Unfortunately that basically means that your teammates will hate and blame you since they will feel cheated out of their 5th teammate. The enemy will hate you because stepping on a shroom is annoying, even if not deadly.
TLDR - Teemo is NOT a toll pick if you know how to play him. Just very few people play him particularly well
ya i feel the same, with this new skin he is fun to play only downside - your so useless in tf , yea that part when you are 1v1 you can blind and so something but in team-fights - so little, you have to be in a middle of it to get some shrum on enemy and when you there you die like paper
well this was my first skin i got in this game and will be the last, such waste.. evey game when i lock him in i got " no not teemo omg'' or something so whats the point of having 100+ champs in LoL when in every season there are just like 20 good ones and rest just su_ks
teemo is just one of those champs people love to hate. if you know what you are doing tho he provides some of the best pressure games in the game. usually you can play off the fact that enemies want to kill teemo at the cost of there own lives, so split pushing and drawing 4 people to chase you through mushroom forest and mushroom river is very worth it while u r team gets other objectives.
as for team fights, teemo himself may be useless but his shrooms sure isnt. place shrooms along mid lane and you make it very hard for enemy team to push without losing have there HP.
that being said tho he needs buffs or a rework.
mkey update, hes not that bad at least in bronze/silver where im playing, ofc team hates you , you cannot carry games in no any way still i find it fun to play him as offtank
but yeah some update would be nice, like if he stays still 2-5 sec he become invisiblle for 2-3 sec even if he moves
or he could get like +1% cd reduction and mp regen for every shrum on the map
