I can't say that it would be at least comical
to see both teams deem one person unworthy of the time and mere'y both go and have a nice cup of tea, converse over the latest of plays and hottest LCS teams and so on, but at the same time perhaps if they truly learned a lesson it would be better. I have sat in numerous games where my anger has gotten the best of me not because of loosing but the poor behavior of teammates doing things that can harm another. I'll admit it wasn't the best of responses but reporting someone doesn't always seem like it's working either. I wouldn't mind seeing a slight change in the way things work as far as trying to dethrone how the current system works. Leaver buster can only take care of so much and it's not exactly the most efficient way of getting things done. Maybe a recommendation of the following could maybe be a priority in the advancement of getting teams to properly work together (after all that is the kind of game we're playing in the first place and people seem to forget it often)
*** Change the way the Vote system works to end games. **
We are very much so aware that it's not exactly "fair" however at the same time, when it's a three to two it's pretty much obvious the vote has tipped in favor. Especially to people who don't desire to stay with the duo complaining about how bad the team is, or the teammates that make poor choices but want the game to crusade longer for the sake of not giving up. Sometimes you have to learn when to stop.
*** Work on how efficient reporting is and maybe having a set council of people to deal with it. **
Granted this might be a nice swing but miss at the target of goal, however electing so many perhaps each month (like a league jury duty) to decide the fate based upon not only on the reports sent in and chat logs maybe a video view for people to watch how the chat had turned and making a choice from there to truly see what happened from both points with out it seeming one side was greater than the other. Not everything is always there (just to maybe see what might have provoked whom in to what)
There is so much opportunity to change the way things are done, however as a whole community nothing will change so long as we have a "I" in a "Team" game.
Maybe it's time to lay the law down.
