Riot should stop releasing new champs for a while

People can't even learn how to play against new champs, let alone playing them. We need a break. 1 champ in 6 months, that would be fine and not every month new champ. remember when pant and gragas were released on the same day.... whos fucking dumb idea was to do that

Funny you bring this up. Post Yasuo I believe, the new champ releases started slowing down and everyone complained there weren't enough new champs.

Sion was a new champ in 2014, don't forget that

I meant the overall frequency.

Quoting the League of Legends wiki (not counting reworks): [×] 2009 release‎ (42 P) [×] 2010 release‎ (24 P) [×] 2011 release‎ (24 P) [×] 2012 release‎ (19 P) [×] 2013 release‎ (8 P) [×] 2014 release‎ (6 P) [×] 2015 release‎ (5 P) [×] 2016 release‎ (3 P)

Champion releases have been greatly decreased from 24 a year to ~5.

Also I appear to have missed my mark. Yasuo was part of the year that slowed down, but I don't think his introduction to league had anything to do with the slowed release schedule.

how about you kids learn to adapt to the game and to changes and to new champions instead of complaining because your mind is too slow to be able to realize how to counter taliyah

how about we stop adding crap into the game?

King of Mongoose1 votes

the moment they stop adding changes and content into the game is the moment this game dies from staleness

if you have a problem with new additions, go play minesweeper or tf2 or something

yeah because adding crap is what makes the game alive i forgot .. yeah lel and i guess that why they are not showing any numbers of how alive the community is right now because they don't have enough time to do it since they are so busy adding crap.

100% correct post here. Adapting is a problem for players who are too lazy to use their melon and why you have so many horrible players in league to begin with. I think that is also why so many enjoy FPS. It's simple. League is not.

I prefer full updates/reworks for champs that have good themes, but poor kits

Patches change the workings of the game on an even larger level than throwing a new champ with 4 abilities into the mix and im sure you haven't even considered how you adapt to that every time. Champion release has really slowed down lately, and with all the exposure of those champs before they hit live, people are fairly prepared to deal with a champion or st least have some amount of knowledge about it. And if this is directly in response to Taliyah's release, she has been the smoothest release I've ever seen. She fits right into the meta, shes not stupidly over powered, shes not permabanned and she is fun to play with or against.
