Riot is repeatevly making the same mistake when making significant changes to unhealthy champions

First of all I just wanna day Sometimes they ask the mains or the subbreddit mains themselves but most of the time they don’t.

Stage 1: ##*DENIAL##So in this case they are changing an unhealthy champion like let’s say irelia, they don’t ask the irelia mains themselves how to to fix her but they carry out with their own thoughts,

Stage 2 ##OUTRAGE Then they release it on the pbe and the irelia mains complain that it doesn’t fix her and it is still unhealthy.

Stage 3 ##*CHANGE At this point riot has 2 options , number 1 Is listen to the Irelia mains and their opinions and see what they you can add to it , which most of the time the champion mains know more about the champion and therefor won’t require as many tests as if riot kept changing their champion without the champion mains opinion. Or 2 Keep trying without their opinion and most of the time it will take you longer and more steps to fix.

Now,What if they ask the champion mains suggestions, BEFORE changing the champion ? It would take less stages, time and effort and it would make them MUCH more healthier most of the times.

Now I do understand some champion mains tend to cry for dumb and over extended buffs for their main, but they have to get their opinion.

Of course some are gonna be bad but the champion mains themselves can help by riot getting SOME opinions from them.

Also, it’s way better to have some biased opinions rather than riot changing them OVER , AND OVER AND OVER like they do.

Frankly, a vast, vast majority of players don't know anything about proper balance or how a champion with a problematic kit should be changed. Not even the players that play the champion the most.

irelia is a toxic cancerous meta antifun champ. she is one of the few champs i would say deserves no sympathy at all if they were to be gutted.

I'm not saying Riot is good at balancing by any measure. But this would be awful on so many levels. First off, the vast majority of players in this game seem to think they are balance geniuses which isn't the case at all.

Although Riot clearly struggles in balancing even simple things, the player base would get it far worse.

And that's not even mentioning the massive amounts of bias that would be included in player suggestions of their champion mains. Of whom they will lie and defend to their grave.

Obviously nobody has any evidence of any of this, and these are all just suppositions, but if you want the best proof available, you need only look on the game play forums after a champion release or a massive patch. During those times, the boards are littered with players claiming that their main champions are perfectly balanced when they are objectively overpowered.

Just no...
