Next Item Being Removed: Deathcap
"We at Riot believe balance to be the key to having fun, and Deathcap ... it hinders that fun. 120 AP plus an additional 30% is just too much power, and we believe that's toxic. So, after a lot of deliberating, we are removing the evil hat to join its friend, DGF, deep into the void. Never shall it return! Now, we know this will hit some mages hard, so we've come up with some changes for a champ or two to help ease the transition.
- Zed: We heard your feedback about his attack speed not needing a nerf at all, and we agree, so we are putting that back to the way it was before. We hope he will continue to remain a healthy assassin.
- Ahri: With Fizz getting that 20% buff on his ult, we believed it was wrong to take away Ahri's identity in her charm's effect, so we are giving it back to her. As compensation for taking it away, we'll be buffing Zed so that he gains MR and Armor by scaling them off of his AD. In addition, we'll also be nerfing Sona's mana regen. We feel it's just way too overwhelming.
