Refunds stuff

Hi, everyone.

I think I can speak on behalf of everyone when I talk about wasted refunds. I think riot should give us a chance to bring us back some way to get some few refunds. Most of us wasted the 3 refunds ineffectively when we started to play at this game, and, of course, nowadays there is lot of things that we'd like to refund but we aren't able to do it. So, as I said before, I think riot should give us some way to get new refunds. Maybe by means of honor system, for example. I just wanted to discuss about this topic and I would like too what people thinks about this. If you want to give your opinion about refunds too, just comment on this forum. Hopefully some rioters will be able to get constancy of this ^^.

when i was new i refunded ashe and garen ... and people tell me "you should know better" lol like i was 4 days in the game (3 years ago)

Yes I agree. When I started playing I bought TF and Xin Zhao and returned them both. Then I bought Gangplank and returned him. I need my returns back!

Riot stated in a Nexus article that Riot has no plans to issue more refund tokens in 2017 but they will consider the issue in the future as more players use all their Refund Tokens.

League of Legends content is intended to be permanent. However we want players to feel good about the content they purchase, so we developed the refund feature to give every player a solution for those rare situations where they purchase content and quickly regret it, and are sure that they will never want to use that content in the future. Many players have never used their refunds, while others have used one, two, or three of them over time. We established a limit of three refunds and still believe that is the right number (this gives players leeway to refund purchases but also protects the overall system from abuse). We’ve explored granting more refunds at times, but discovered that the majority of players would prefer free content instead, so each year we have steadily increased the amount of content players receive just for playing the game. Refunds and free content both come at considerable cost to Riot, so we have to carefully focus on which to prioritize to deliver value to players and protect our ability to operate as a business. That said, while we have no current plans to issue more refund tokens in 2017, it is something we will continue to explore in the future as more players hit the three refund cap. i'd really appreciate just one. Recently i was looking at snow day bard since i had enough for one more skin, and i didn't realize that snow day bard is the one snow day skin you can buy out of season for some reason?!!? or they just aren't locked to that season any more?! but i bought him without realizing that because i assumed it was locked to the event. And it wasn't for some reason. even though my friend said it was locked for him. and i really don't like the skin.
