Its come to a point where when I'm in the loading screen. I just have to hope the matchmaking is on my side. Because of the majority of my games. Have come down to the matchmaking. I'm sure im not the only one going through this. But I rarely get even matchups. Very rarely. Theres always someone on the team who will feed whether it be me sometimes or someone else on my team. It's very frustrating. Because I will go on a massive win streak where we will stomp the enemy team. And then I will go on a bigger lose streak where its usually done before 20. And people are ffing at 15. Because the bot lane is 2/16. Before the 20 minute mark. I'm quite upset about this as I feel the matchmaking just isn't even. I don't know if its an end of season thing. Or if riots matchmaking system is just really bad. I hope things are fixed for next season. Because It's really hard to climb.

It's not the matchmaking, matchmaking hasn't changed, its the high damage snowball meta punishing mistakes as hard as possible, taking away peoples hope so they don't play safe and come back. It's like Runes reforged was designed by a super-villain.

It is pretty visable that the matchmaking HAS worsened. I've had about 100 teammates, establishing a sample size of 25 games with 4 ally teammates each game, and about 93 of them have been toxic, AFK, inting, troll picks (like Akali Support)

That means SEVEN PERCENT of my teammates were valuble people whom i enjoyed, and considering that i've got about a 30% winrate in the past 20 games (according to op.gg) it makes sense.

10% of the time i can solo carry an awful team of 4 negative players. Thats not good. I dont think any game where the winners are decided in champselect/queue time can be called "competitive"

My problem is when your on a fat winstreak, but then for some reason your adc and mid laner look like it's their first game ever

League is a team game. Which means, yeah, hope you get a good team. Ranked is a joke.

Less people playing LoL = worse matchmaking

well yea that makes 100% sense that the team with the better players wins

The way I look at it, is that if you are playing well you only really increase your chances of winning by 1-5%. If you are playing REALLY well, you only increase your chances of winning to like, 60%. There's still too many variables for one person to account for, even if that person is a monster.

Sounds to me like you're accurately rated then. We see it time and again. Players starting way below their skill level stomp games until they get closer, at which point their win rates start to drop. When they're accurately rated, your win rate should be around 50% because everyone should be about as good as you are.

This is how it's supposed to work.

That's what happens when it is next to impossible to solo carry. You are ways WAYS too reliant on others to do shit in this game at the moment, especially when the communication is basically nonexistent and no one cares when you call objectives, while your team prefers to zerg, die and lose it afterwards.

Idk about the other lanes, but in bot lane, the best player doesn't actually win.

If you're adc, the better support decides the whole lane unless both your opponents are stupid or have the weaker matchup... And if you're support it's much worse because all your efforts are useless if the adc cant land skills or position. And if he decides to just play for late game then you're in for the most boring game of your life because you're actually trapped into sitting behind a complete dunce.

Even if the matchup is completely winnable, you have to play like you've already lost and your only hope is if somebody roams down to bail you out... I don't know about the matchmaking for all of you but it's complete cancer for support. A retarded adc will let them shove you to the turret and demand you ward on top of the enemy pinks with no pressure to contest it because (they're scaling.) You have no options. If you choose to roam, your allies will be so focused on raging at you that they wont even try to make use of anything you actually did. If you get matched with the wrong team as support, it's actually hell because you have to sit there for the remaining 7 to 40 minutes until the game is lost because your allies spend the whole time stalling instead of actually playing the game.

but lets be fair here, going 0-5 in lane phase isn't always "feeding". Many times the case is that, whatever lane has a bad matchup in the first place, combined with their opposing lane champion and opposing jungle champion having strong gank/diving synergy. Many times it is unavoidable for your top laner for example, to go 0-5, be behind in CS, and exp. But all the attention being placed on the top side of the map, should be exploited by your jungler taking entire bot side jungle and putting your other lanes ahead via ganks, or just pressure. Its not always the 0-5 guys fault you lost, sometimes its your teams fault for not capitalizing on the oppurtunities that come from someone getting focused on.
