Honestly if your picks and knockbacks are stronger than the enemy team, Yi and Vayne aren't nearly as scary even when farmed.

Blitzcrank and Quinn in particular need to be a thing when countering top isn't strictly necessary, and Blitzcrank can easily outplay Thresh simply by locking him down with fist/silence before he gets tanky. The rest is skillshot fishing.
