Permanent removal of the surrender system
Now I realize that this will be disregarded by most because of 2 reasons. 1. Because I was playing Teemo in this game (people think he's Satan, we get it, but focus on the point of this) 2. Because people believe the surrender option is a great feature in the game so that when things aren't going their way, they can just end the game at 20 mins, ruining the winning team's fun, and giving the losing team their instant gratification of going onto the next game in their all day marathon that would be hindered by playing in a losing game (god forbid they learn from their mistakes).
To the point, the link I've posted doesn't do justice to the exact circumstances of this game, we were winning.... and DESTROYING them in fact, I was trying to make the last push by myself, and I say by myself not because I had best KDA, but because my entire team had made a sport of following me around and doing nothing but taking farm (I didn't need it, I was full build for QUITE a while already, they just wanted to deny me any gold they could), and in the process, anytime we ran into enemy team resistance, they would get just close enough so that the team could engage on us, so they could try and feed me to the enemy team. Their comments throughout the WHOLE game were something to the tune of: "This teemo needs to die" "Just get one kill on teemo and we'll end" "teemo's in top brush come kill him" "teemo's at your blue, come get him". This SHIT went on for the last 10 mins of the game after I was far into full build. I managed to chunk down all three inhib turrets, and the inhibs as well. Here I am thinking that all I have to do is get with the double super minion waves and push into and take their Nexus (both Nexus turrets had been down from earlier team fight). And as the second wave of double supers were pushing into their base, I was slightly behind them, and MY team starts the surrender, and of course I clicked decline, and 3 out of the other 4 clicked yes, and as I got into the base, and started running to Nexus (I knew what they were doing), whoever the final one was clicked yes, which as you all know, means that even if I had downed the Nexus in the lagtime between final count and defeat, we still would have lost.
This was just a normal game, and while I know you elitest are gonna come in here tell me to get over it cause it wasn't ranked, but that is besides the point, it is shit like this, the majority (who more than likely were queued together) being able to control whatever they want in games just because they have the numbers. I personally never surrender, I believe that if our team is losing, we need to either make correction and try to come back, or learn from the experience and make sure I/We/They/etc. don't make those mistakes again. As conclusion, you want a new mechanic to balance this game?
TAKE OUT SURRENDERING.
