(Repost) what supports are good right now and what ones are bad?
I was just wanting to ask everyone's opinion. For example, is TAHM still good? Is Janna bad. I'm trying to expand my champion pool of supports ,from Soraka, Braum, thresh, and lulu...

Bard is garbage. Don't pick him ever. Janna is the best by far. Super loaded kit.
Sion is good if you can learn him
Be the true support. Support the Win with Brand.
Good tier (in my opinion) -
(with the right adc)
(if you can play him well)
(though I think he's more of a top laner)
(can be good if you know how to play him)

I think almost every support is good right now :)
Supports are actually kinda broken right now. Every support is pretty good right now especially more Utility based guys like Bard and Thresh who had awkward builds before where you didn't even really know wtf u were to buy.
Just gonna list a few below and talk about a few others.
Highly recommend: Nami: she is a well- rounded champion, her ult and Q catch enemies well since they keep them rooted in an area for a few seconds, she can heal and do damage with her W which is really good for trading, and her E can give autos extra damage and slow enemies down. She goes well with basically any ADC. Janna: She is the best counter to champions who go all in such as Kennen, Malphite. And can assist Yasuo well. She also has a shield that does the same as Nami's E by giving autos extra damage when the shield is on a champion. Also goes well with many ADCs, especially those who don't have escape abilities (ex. Jinx, Jhin, MF) Karma: her poke is strong. If you build AP, you can be a second midlander basically. Her Q's hurt, especially if you add her ult. She can root enemies similar to Leblanc's E, and has a shield that can speed people up. (Would suggest her adc that has a good early game to get ahead but not necessary) Zyra: also a strong poke support and mainly a poke support. She hurts a LOT. And she has an ability to root champions. Would also recommend with ADCs with early game but not necessary. Braum: strong champion with the right ADC (ex. Lucian) because of his Q to stun, acts as a shield that not only can take damage but also his ult can be used to block abilities such as ez's ult, nami's ult, yasuo's wind, etc. and can act as a tank Alistar: would recommend with a stronger early game ADC as well (so not vayne), he can headbutt people away or towards your team, stun them in the air, heal both champions and minions (this can affect the enemy's under tower CS) and act as a tank. Hard to master.
Decent supports or supports I lack knowledge in: Taric: mainly his stun and ult (invincibility) are the reasons why I would recommend him. I haven't played him yet but I really want to find a chance to learn him. Can be a tank. Thresh: I would put him as a highly recommended support but I didn't because I'm still iffy about him. I haven't had good experience with him but mainly because I can't play him well. He can act as a tank, and all his abilities are very game changing. However I don't see him as much i games. Blitz: He is a conditional support. His main function is to pull champions in and hit them up in the air, but you wouldn't want him if there are champs who go all in on purpose like Annie, Malph, Wukong, etc. Soraka: she's not as OP as she used to be with her heal on an 8 second CD level one and she has no escape or damage abilities. She's just a healer and if your teams losing, you're basically useless as well. However, she is still recommended because she's easy to play, and is still fairly strong with her heals. Her Q can also be used to slow champions, her E can enable champions to cast spells in that area and can root them, and her ult can save teammates anywhere. Bard: he is only good if you can play him well, otherwise, you're going to lose the game for your team. His ult can either win or lose your team the game. And he is a pretty difficult champion to master.
