Veigar is in a good spot after the most recent patch.

I've played quite a few games with Veigar since the most recent patch and have been doing consistently well with him! I feel that since they adjusted the cast time on his E that it's much more reliable and quite like the pre-nerf except now the enemy can see where it's going to pop up.

I've been able to consistently land his E with adjusted positioning, yes it's a learning curve but it also makes him alot more fun to play agaisnt as you actually have a chance to counter him, I have no problems landing a good W either so I really do feel he is in a good spot. The only gripe I would have is that I feel his Q range should be increased by about 50 and he'd be in a perfect spot!

I really don't agree with your evaluation. I've played a bit of Veigar after patch 5.5, and I still feel that his E and W are still worse than they used to be. Landing the Dark Matter (W) is quite difficult unless the opposing champion is CC'd, lagging quite badly (it happens) or very, very slow. In any of these cases, it would not be that Veigar is the reason that is worked, but instead makes him more reliant on someone else on his team being able to land CC so that he can be of much effectiveness. You can chain CC with his Event Horizon, and land your Dark Matter on the opponent. This is relying heavily on someone else on your team doing work so that you can do something. He's quite bad right now.

wait you're serious? no, he cant lane against anyone, its extremely difficult for him to keep himself alive in lane without letting the enemy free farm. and hopefully you get an equal amount of farm.

veigar is incapable of harassing the enemy in any way without coming out on the losing end. Q hits minions and cant reach his enemy laner due to minion hit boxes. and meteor is impossible to land without the stun. veigar cant harass. veigar can only dodge what his opponent dishes out which in turn dictates whos better anyway.

I think he is close but definitely not there yet. They need to increase the speed of his W otherwise they will make him feel more clunky then he already is
