Veigar and the current state of all things terrible

5.4 patch is probably the worst patch i've gone through since I started playing this game, I normally take everything with a grain of salt from the patch notes. Try every possible way to make Riot's idea of a champion work but honestly these Veigar changes are so terrible I lost all desire to play him and I used to love him dearly.

The changes to his Q are fine, not really needed.. but fine. It adds a different dynamic to his play that allows him to farm his ap while also pressuring the lane a bit, but also puts him at a disadvantage being a squishy mage with no real mobility having to position to get those creeps in the back if he wants ap. But it's fine since he still has a stun right? WRONG

W changes, not really substantial and were kind of pointless. Ever since DFG got removed i've consistently played Veigar better than when it was in. DFG was unreliable.. had shorter range than any of Veigars abilities and if you had any sort of lag it was typical to not even cast.

E changes is where the real problem is, why did you add a .75 delay to his stun when the cast time is already .5? that's 1.25 seconds the enemy champion has to react, 1.25 seconds they can run out of your stun field virtually rendering your W useless as you require a champion to be stationary to even land your W. Veigar used to be boss at 1v1 any squishy champion especially if they have ap, but now he can't even defend himself agaisnt a gank due to the fact his stun is SO easy to get around.

R changes are whatever, it's a nerf obviously but not something i'm too hung up over.

But in the state of things I will expect the pick rate of Veigar to drop even lower than it already is, the poor guy can't do anything right besides soak up CS in hopes his Q/R combo will be enough, lord knows you won't land that E unless your opponent lags out or just plain walks into it.

These are the worst champion "compensation" for an item changes that i've ever seen. GG Riot's balance team you troll us too well. Please just revert him back to the way he was pre 5.4, none of the changes were needed as Veigar was a very good champion at what he did. Now i'd rather use Annie or Syndra mid knowing i'll be able to get a stun off without complication and actually be relevant to a game.
