What do you mean by well designed. Her animation and other stuff or her kit? Because if you’re talking about her kit, her kit is kinda eh. She’s currently in weird spot. Were she rely too much on her team and be carried. Her gameplay is basically, spam w and hope for the best. Unlike other support gameplay like, Janna, where you can pull off those good and not so boring plays, flashing and ulting your enemies towards your team or turret and knocking them up. But yeah they’re both two different support class anyways.

I actually think she’s better designed than Janna and far, far less frustrating. Because she has a not horrible niche.

Janna’s niche is countering 95% of the melee champions in the game (disgusting). As well as some ranged champions.

Soraka’s niche is negating poke damage. And she herself is not that hard to counter, idk why people get riled up about her.

While Soraka is simple, but she has to be because she’s a niche pick (can’t blindly be picked into any comp).

If she were complex, you would get someone like Sombra from Overwatch: can only be used in specific circumstances, but is so obtuse and generally hated to be played with that you’ll never gain enough experience to actually be able to use her effectively, even in her niche.
