Teambuilder Queues Biased Toward More Popular Champions

All right, so I wanted to play Evelynn. I went to teambuilder and clicked "Join A Team". The first five results that came up were noob teams, all of around level 13. I clicked "Build a team", and the first person I saw was a level 13 Marksman Heimerdinger. I quit, then I used Urgot , again in teambuilder. I got the SAME Heimerdinger, then noob after noob. Then I just gave up and played Shaco , and got level 30(ranked) summoners(fuck the retcon). Can Riot fix the matchmaking system so it is not biased toward more popular champions?

You are probably getting teammates around your level hence why so many low level are in your team builder. With normals you'll just queue up with whoever is also queuing around the time you started. Not sure how you know it's a noob team though especially considering you didn't play with them. Not too sure, your wording implies you gave up when you saw the team and left which makes no sense!

Oh, sorry for the unclearness(is that even a word?), I left after op.gg-ing who i was matched up with. Also, they weren't "around my level", they were level 8-13 summoners

They might be smurfs or, er, more mechanically-skilled players with higher mmr (people who played DOTA2, for example).

Kind of like how you got level 30's for normals.

It's not a bias, it's just your mmr. The system itself is kinda wonky, if you ask me.
