Why the kai'sa nerf

Only half a day after the buff and they already reduced her base AD and increased the mana on her Q.

Why only half a day after they've buffed her.

Wasn't the issue that her laning is pretty garbage? Why'd they nerf that.

It just doesn't make sense to me...
