I think nexus siege would be fun if Events werent a thing.

Sudden Death: flat out disgusting, ruins the mode the most. Takes away any chance of defending and pretty much forces the game into a coinflip win/lose for the sake of early game end timers. Like why force nexus fights? Just let us play it out normally, no need to rush it. Imagine if in ascension a super xeraph spawned that gave 200 points, imagine if in project a max point drone spawned, its just not a cool nor satisfying way to end an intense battle.

Snowball: This one isn't too bad, might be crazier/fun if it was the mark from aram/poro toss but i'm fine with it as is.

Payload: bad, basically gives whoever has priority a free tower.

King of the hill: Bad, this just doesn't work well in league. Especially the random spawn points, making it one sided majority of the time, another "who gets priority" event, and champ pick reliant.

Loot Teemo: bad, pretty much gives who ever's jungle this thing runs in a huge gold advantage and overall event bonus. Even if it spawns in the team's jg thats behind, its not good for comeback as you're just leashing it for the enemy since its defenses are so massive, it'll spawn there and run into the enemy probably, or alternatively it'll spawn on the winning side but they can either actually kill it, or use it to force a fight and kill it+ace the losing side.

Ring of fire: I hate this... TBH I was on pbe and didn't mind it, but in my nexus siege game I was making a smart play for a sneaky herald.. what happens mid way through the herald? Ring of fire forcing me to go fight and get killed because god knows CDs and 75% health isn't enough to survive joining a late fight.

The bonuses you get for completing them are really dumb too.

Nexus blitz's setup is honestly really promising.. there's always lane and jungle interaction with the way things are set up, and the duo jungle + 3 laners offers a lot of versatility for all demographics (support main? Support one of the laners or take smite and assist the jg. Marksmen main? Play it in a role, or even duo with your jg to peel for you, etc).

the map, by design, is great as a permanant substitution mode, maybe not balanced but its actually a fun fiesta.

The events / "experiments" are god awful and put the AR in this urf. Let us test this gamemode without them, and I think I'd play this more often then ARAM.

EDIT: Nexus blitz*

The advantages a team gets a re way to big. I have played 10 matches and all were absolute blowouts. Not fun at all.

I will not be playing again till it is balanced

Nexus Blitz. Nexus Siege is a different mode where one team plays offense and one plays defense, then swaps around for the other team to beat the previous team's offense time. IMO the events are fine, this game is made super snowbally to for it to end fast, and the nexus inting is the last chance for the "behind" team to make a comeback.

I actually like the events, but agree that they could be improved.

Sudden Death is by far my least favorite. I understand they want to keep games short, and honestly a Sudden Death isn't such a bad idea...but having the Nexus fight each other? It literally doesn't require player input; they would just wail on each other until one of them wins by random chance. I feel they should change this to something more player-focused: maybe move the Nexuses closer to each other, like in the jungle tower's spot. Then they are easier to get to, but still require some amount of strategy and player success to get to.

If you are in the middle of sneaking Herald and an event happens, its kind of your fault. Events warn you a whole minute in advance, and the first one happens at 5 minutes. You should treat it like an objective that's about to spawn: back in advance and be ready for when it "spawns". I think adding an event timer to the Tab screen (along with blue/red/Herald spawns, which are strangely missing even though this is already a feature in SR) would help emphasize this.

I might make my own post of feedback as well, as I get the hang of things there's a lot I like and some stuff I don't like. I do like the events, I think its what makes it stand out from other modes in some regard. Good discussion though.

The sudden death is the worse idea they could possibly implement.

Nothing is more frustrating and completely takes away from the experience of being in the middle of a comeback, aceing their team and while your team is all half hp killing their nexus the event pops up, you cannot kill the original nexus because now it is invincible and you have to chase the full health one, the enemy team spawns (full hp, mana, bought items) and kills yours and proceeds to win.

I was sincerely having fun with the mode until that happened, and now I really don't wanna go anywhere near it for at least a week. I think it is one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with league of legends, basically a massive "Fuck you" to the face. My whole team was cursing at Riot at that moment and honestly I cannot bring myself to disagree with them. Come to think of it, I'm gonna make this a post because it really got to me and I hope it gets visibility so they take action ASAP...

The events are okay, but they're sometimes way too one-sided. They should all be in the center of the jungle. And some of the rewards suuuuuuck. I'd take a catapult over any of the other rewards. In fact, in every single one of my games with only one catapult, the team with the catapult always won. Didn't matter who was ahead or behind before, the catapult was the winner.

I played a bit more and 2/25 games were balanced. Every other game was a massive blowout one sided
