I really like the new Champion
and i feel like he is mechanically and strategically a great champion. I also like the new assasin item
, regardless of what everyone else keeps saying on these boards. Yes it the passive on this item is kind of op, and could be tweaked a little bit, but overall is a great item. I think everyone is just miffed that there isn't an AP equivilant item in the game.
Regards to these two new additions to League of Legends, I wanted to talk about the game as a whole. In my humble opinion, I think that Riot should tweak the game so that it is balanced, or in close to being balanced - as i also think that it's almost impossible to completely balance a game like this.
I think that champions that have toxic game play should be addressed and balanced (
) or tweaked in a manor that makes them balanced. To be quite honest, i am perfectly okay with graves having that much burst, fizz having a free invulnerability every 6ish seconds late game, and fiora nuking people while building strictly tank as long as other champions can have the same abilities to counteract with them. Sure that makes them less unique, in a sense of a way, but would balance out the game tremendously.
For example, lets look at Yasuo. Specifically his W (Windwall). Why can his W block every incomming projectile, but Braum's W (unbreakable i beleive it is called) can only block certain projectiles. Yasuo can block a Braum's ultimate with his windwall, but a Braum can't block a Braum's ultimate with unbreakable. If we make both shields block the same kind of projectiles that would make Yasuo's W more balanced (although a high CD on Yas's W argues this) in the eyes of gameplay and players because there is more than one champion with that specific ability. Although i doubt this sort of stuff will ever happen in the name of keeping champions unique in their own way, but it is just a thought.
Or another example or perfect balance is
Sure he can CC you and 2 other teammates at the same time, but his stuns don't feel overwhelming - You're not cc locked until you die,. He deals damage, and can be seen as bursty, but he isn't over whelming in any way, shape or form, unless he is fed. Also, when he is behind he can't just insta-gib you like other certain champions.
All i'm trying to say is: I like the new champion, and the new item, but what I would really like more is if you balanced the rest of your champions before you add more stuff to the game
Like, are we ever going to see buffs or reworks directed at unpopular and underplayed champions to make them more viable?? -->
Probably once very popular champions, or at least played regularly, but were nerfed (gutted?) due to certain items, masteries, or synergy with the meta. Or just reowrk champions because they have old kits that NEED to be updated.
