Any update/news in regards to Lissandra's possible new passive?

A little over a month ago, a possible new passive for Lissandra was announced:

"Iceborn: When a champion Lissandra has damaged within the last three seconds dies, they become a Frozen Statue. Frozen Statues slow nearby enemies by 30 percent. After 2.5 seconds Frozen Statues shatter, dealing X (+Y AP ratio) magic damage to nearby enemies."

I've been wondering whether there's been any news as to whether this passive will be released very soon or if it has been scraped. As a Lissandra main, I like the concept of this passive; it'll be a shame if it is thrown away. At any rate, there definitely needs to be some sort of improvement for the infamous ice witch.

Meddler said that it's almost certain to ship, but that because it has pretty heavy artist requirements we won't see it on PBE or anything for quite a while, also because it's not high on the priority list for those artists that would be needed.

As the subject of the statues needs artistic work, it's going to take at least one more patch they said, we'll probably have it in the PBE 8.17 cycle.
