Maokai drains health from wards

I almost died in a 1v2 as Maokai but since there was a random enemy control ward closer to me than 2 flailing enemy champs, I attacked it and healed up from its magical nectar 0_o. If this is intentional for his passive, keep it Rito. If it isn't keep it Rito. This loophole saves lives.

Solid game design right there.

Maokai main here. That sounds slightly suspect.

You punched a ward - which acts like a partial stun given his passive mechanics Healed enough to get away On a champ with painfully slow MS with two champs chasing you?

Really?

enemy wards are enemy units just like minions or monsters.

his passive doesnt make mao lifesteal health from his opponent. it just heals him when he auto attacks an enemy unit. so imo it made sense that he healed there, and it was actually quite smart if you werent in auto attack range. if you were, it didnt make a difference.
