Veigar grading seems way off

Hey there, I play Veigar a lot. And one thing I have noticed is that it's really really really hard to get a good grade with him. I've had games where I literally have 16 kills and 16 assists and still get maybe in the A range. I've had games where I never died and did really well and got in the B range. Ultimately it seems extremely hard to get a good grade with him and climb the mastery levels. This is really hard when I know that I am making plays, part of all the battles and getting a lot of kills.

To add insult to injury, I played Heimer randomly recently, did o-k but I knew I wasn't part of a lot of the plays or making the game. But then I get to the end of the game and I get an A!!!! It seems like there are champions that are just much easier to get an S on than others, and that can feel shitty. I might be one of the best in a game but then someone who did way less gets an S somehow.

I know some of the details of grading is exposed, but it seems like there is something I am missing about this. What am I supposed to do to push up my grade? Veigar

It's not just your KDA and participation, CS and warding plays a big role as well. You could be 15-2-10 at 30 minutes with 90 CS and a ward score of 12, probably land a B.

Also I believe its relative to other Veigar players in your elo.

For an example, I went something like 7-8-12 on my ADC the other day, but had 336 CS and 8 controls wards placed, and constant trinket usage. Got an S+.

TLDR if you're trying to get mastery, ward a lot and farm like crazy.
