Please allow us to move whole rune/mastery pages.

Just a small request of Riot, please allow us to move our rune and mastery pages around. I like to keep everything in order, top laners first, junglers, mid laners, etc etc. It helps me, at a quick glance, remember all of the champions I'm good at in a particular lane, and easily find their rune/mastery pages. And whenever I want to add a new champion that needs a new page I'd just like to be able to make the page, then move it to where the rest of those champions for that lane are. Currently I just find myself deleting everything, and rebuilding my pages from scratch so I can keep everything clean and in order. It's just a little quality of life I'm hoping will one day make it into the game!

Well i really have to congratulate Riot at this point. Ignoring a feature players asking for since LoL exists, easily feasible by a damn IT trainee for such a long time is a huge achievement!

Seriously the day Riot is implementing a freaking Drag&Drop feature will mark a new calendar it´s the final fantasy of each League-Player... Kappa Kappa Kappa ... and i dont care about this isnt Twitch-Chat!

Drag and Drop already exists for the Item Sets page. So why not masteries? And it doesn't even need to be drag and drop, just a button that makes 2 turn into 1 and vise versa.

because it was designed that way initially...while it seems like its an easy thing to then apply elsewhere, you dont know what kind of coding that stuff is utilizing and it could mean a HUGE rework of the code.

That being said...I WOULD like to see this as a reality...because I too like to organize my Runes/Masteries in a specific way...

They claimed they can't implement that ability with Adobe Air, so we won't get it until they make a new client that doesn't use Adobe Air.

Drag and drop isn't possible in Adobe Air? I find that hard to believe.

Adobe AIR is a pretty terrible framework based on Flash (which is itself is terrible). It supports dragging and dropping files into an AIR application. I'm also certain that even if Flash supports it (I have never written a Flash application nor could you pay me to), Riot's code is not easily refactored to utilize reordering.

The way I would fix it (assuming either a flat file or database storage solution on server side), would be to add another property/column called "order". This way, you can either sort the data in client (silly), in the server (possibly more silly), or from the database (ideal; throw a unique index on the order column/identity column pair and use an "order by" on the order column). All Riot would need to do is provide a mechanism for editing the order number with a few guardrails.

Item sets are client-side. I imagine that has something to do with why you can.

upvoted everytime i see this, seen it sooooooo much it isn't funny. I wonder if riot has there own personal forums where they downvote the ideas we suggest by how lazy that team is? cause even coding wise, it can be done if they put someone on there

while we're at it, remove the fking costs on rune pages. masteries cost NOTHING. we already have to buy the runes themselves, and we need a fking page to put them on???!! r u kidding me.

I can actually see implementing this as being pretty tricky, but I'm all for the effort. The rune pages as they exist now are a real pain in the butt. I'm currently getting up the nerve to delete all 20 and rearrange them in order of most used. Not looking forward to it.

Too much coding for such a "small" feature that it should've been there since years. Too bad I guess it won't happen. $ speaks, and riot doesn't want to lose any $ on free things
