Making Twitch capable of leashing easier

So I'm hoping this is the place to make a suggestion for a champion, as I've not actually posted on the forums before. But I've been playing a lot of Twitch lately, and there's only one thing that bugs me about him: He cannot leash very well. You're typically only able to auto once or twice and give a relatively poor leash to your jungler, making them take more damage than necessary and possibly even delaying your support from getting to lane with you for experience. No other marksmen has this problem, and I think I have a simple solution for it. Don't allow Twitch's passive to be active until you drop a point into a skill. I don't feel like this would be too complicated for players to understand, and should only take one sentence to explain in the passive tooltip. I understand you might need your passive and skill to harass early on, but realistically you want to wait until that point to level up a skill anyway. With this change at least you now have an option to give a proper leash more often. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Agree, disagree?

*Edited to remove a point about saving smite. It stacks duh! XD

Just don't allow the poison to kill jungle monsters

I would argue against that, but I think its safe to say that barely anyone plays Twitch jungle anymore.

Actually, now that smite stacks you aren't really punished for smiting the first camp late. Your second smite will be up at the same time no matter when you first smite.

Another possibility could be to prevent Twitch's poison from killing buff camps and instead reduce them to one health. Since the poison is a passive, it might make more sense to not tie it's activation to other abilities.

The thing I don't like about that is you can't auto a monster a few times and switch targets or walk away while you let the poison finish the monster off if you do want to start clearing out the jungle later on. It also requires Twitch junglers to auto attack monsters an additional time in a lot of cases. I personally don't know for sure if Twitch jungle still works, but if it does this would hurt it a little bit. Seconds do matter when it comes to early clears. Maybe just not have it kill the big monsters would be an ok alternative.

Also edited my post because of smite stacking... stupid that I forgot about that lol.

Sorry, didn't clarify correctly. I meant that the poison could be changed to not kill large monsters (similar to the Machete passive or Cinderhulk aura). It might require an extra auto, but it does make it easier for him to leash camps or pass off buffs.

I completely agree with this, as I have taken the jungler's gromp on accident before
