Things Initiators wish allies knew

Hey there squishy and/or mobile Assassin, Mage or ADC, It's me, your Tank, Fighter, Support or Jungle Initiator. I know you're always wanting me to peel for you, but there are a few things I think you're forgetting when you ask me to do so.

1- I'm Slow.

Unlike you with your dashes, blinks, jumps and other mobility skills, I'm slow. Slow as Molasses in January. So if you go diving into a 1v5 with your aforementioned mobility skills and die, and wonder why I wasn't able to follow you and peel, it's because I wasn't able to get there fast enough or get into a good position beforehand to use my CC.

2- Once my CC is used, it's USED.

Once I've used my dash, taunt, knock-up, pull, stun or whatever other form of CC I have to initiate a fight, I won't be able to use it again for a number of seconds. So if things unfortunately go wrong and you die in the team-fight, and you ask me why I didn't peel that or or whatever else was on you, it's because my CC was on CD. Can't control Cool-Downs any more than I can control the rising of the Sun.

3- I can't literally tank FOREVER.

Just like you have your health bar, I have mine. And as much as you might think it's infinite, it's not. I can't tank LITERALLY EVERYTHING in a team-fight. If the enemy happens to have a tank-melter on their side, I might even die faster than YOU. I'll tank what I can and peel what I can, but even MY ability to withstand blows has a limit.

4- I need items to be able to tank.

Just like you need gold for your Duskblades, Rabadon Caps and Infinity Edges, I need gold for my Zzrot's, Randuin's and Adaptive Helms. So if I TP gank your lane, and get a kill or take some CS, it's because I'm trying to make up for some of the gold I've lost by leaving my lane, where my opponent might be able to farm, or even get my tower, if they don't TP gank in response or otherwise become involved where I am.

5- When I successfully initiate, FOLLOW UP.

When I do use my CC and get a really good situation set up, like a 5-man knock-up as , or a 3 to 4 man-taunt as , or slam everyone with my charge as , get them to use all their damage or CC as with my W up, or some other golden opportunity, don't just stand there and watch like I'm some exhibit at a zoo. FOLLOW UP! I just gave you the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY to go in! USE IT!

So those are just some concerns I wanted to voice.
