Ideas on new way to make Talon desirable again?

Saw this guys idea, reminds me of Katarinas Shunpo. I think that his idea sounds pretty decent to me, I decided to quote it and post it as a thread to get more it recognition. Though there probably is better ideas out there. What do you people think?

I believe giving Talon's E the ability to cast upon allies would be worthy equilibrium to his recent nerf.

Currently Talon's E is an extremely high-risk high-reward spell - players now have potential to punish Talon severely for engaging because of the silence removal.

Talon has a distinct lack of mobility that other assassins possess, such as Akali's Twilight Shroud and Zed's Living Shadow. While Talon can certainly engage extremely well, he has a hard time disengaging from fights without the use of his ultimate. The ability to cast Cutthroat upon allies would work similarly to Jax's Leap Strike, giving Talon an escape tool he so dearly needs to make up for his other inherent weaknesses in comparison to other assassins, such as mana reliance.

Balancing Cutthroat to act as a utility-based omnitool rather than a strictly offensive maneuver would certainly open up and revitalize Talon's gameplay.

In culmination Talon would still retain his high-risk high-reward Cutthroat, but will also be able to escape certain unfavorable situations when used defensively, such as during tactical retreats or post-assassination escapes. His escape ability would still be somewhat limited, though - the defensive capabilities of the ability relies upon the presence of allies. Alas, that is the point of this idea - the point is not to make Talon the ultimate escape artist, but rather give him a necessary boost to his combat mobility to accentuate his unique champion characteristics, being...

A powerful but fragile melee character with specialized tools to be both deadly and evasive...

Talon is most definitely deadly, but we must face the facts of his recent changes - his only reliable evasion mechanic has been his ultimate, and with the removal of his silence he simply has no power to escape his foes post-attack without blowing his ultimate all over the place. Shadow Assault is certainly coined as Talon's deadliest advance or saving grace, but alas, Talon is now indubitably ultimate-reliant. He must be optimized to compete.

PS: I personally dont think Talon is unplayable, I do fine with him in ranked actually. It just feels like hes missing something now. I mean no CC just all damage and one slow.

in silver yes but if you will take him to plat you will bounce off zhonya 90% of the time (juust like zed) and sometimes you will get pinkwarded

the only reason talon was actualy played was his silence ppl want assasins because squishy carries are this game building stone and assasins counter them but with items like zhonya ,qqs, banshe and locket assasins without silence or assasins with cooldowns are unable to perform their job when it comes to killing apc's

and i noticed im my playtime that killing enemy apc is more important than killing the adc, apc usualy posseses burst and cc not to mention that magic dmg is spare in teams so magic resist got nerfed, meaning that apc is more dangerous (he deals less dmg but he is versatile when it comes to actual use and supporting his adc)

From what I understand about Talon, his major strength is in the speed at which he can execute his full combo. He can, somewhat easily, 100-0 someone within less than a second if you have the reflexes for it. Other assassins usually have some kind of ramp-up time unless they're atrociously fed - Katarina, Zed, and Fizz all have to "wait" a certain amount of time for their abilities to take full effect (cast/channel time on all of their ults), and Akali usually has to jump on a target a couple times to kill them; Talon has the luxury of spamming everything in quick succession. In addition, his ult is on a remarkably low cooldown - the amount of times you enter a fight without it up is minimal, and as such he should almost always be able to use it as an escape. Essentially giving him Katarina's Shunpo would make him way too safe, I think. Unless evidence proves otherwise, I think Talon's in a fine state where he's at now. The only real nerf that they gave him is the ability for people to dash/blink away should they have the ability to do so - which adds much needed counterplay to a champion without any previously.

I don't think Talon got as nerfed as some people make it out to be. As Vythanar already said, he still has one of the fastest burst combos. But I do agree that his E should stop channeled ablities like Viktor's ultimate does.
