If a champion isn't in a pick/ban status in competitive scene, It doesn't mean he's balanced

Foreword: This post isn't about Riven.

I mean, for example, got played a couple of times. Sometimes she carried hard, sometimes she got babysitted (but she could still 100-0 squishies even if she was 0/4, but anyway...). I don't want to crucify Riven, but I think that generally Riot shouldn't design champions that are stressful to play against. Older champions have this pattern like (but Yorick can be kited pretty easily), but there are also more recent examples like . This was just one of my consideration, but I would like to know what you guys think about.

riven is not op at all and she doesn't fit the meta the problem with her is if she gets fed she can buy brutalize and cleaver and when riven is ahead she is problematic otherwise she is useless and most of time she is useless she is good in low elo because she can get fed easily

We know that low elo Riven main just smash the keyboard. I'm talking about people like BoxBox. If you watch his stream, you'll understand that a perfecly played Riven has almost no counterplay.

P.S.: My post isn't about Riven btw

A perfectly played Riven can beat just about anyone. Champions who are considered to be counters to Riven such as Cho'Gath, Irelia, and Garen, will actually have a lot of difficulty beating a Riven player that masters her like BoxBox.

yes this is the riven problem but she gets shitted on by most top planers

I dunno the only champ i have problems is renekton ,others can be easily outplayed.

personally I think they should focus less on making new champs for a while and more on fixing the old champs and broken designs they've come up with

sated devourer is great that it gives a lot of unviable picks newfound power....it's also dreadful that those same newfound picks are becoming the new meta because they can one-shot anyone in range

then there are champs with almost no kit (yorick...his ghouls can prevent 15% damage and do some very minor damage, but he really has little to offer against virtually anyone post level 3 until late game where he has the items to tank

urgot could use some love too...even though he was recently played in LCS, his kit is very clunky and binary, you either keep a target in range and hopefully that same target can't burst you down, or they run out of range until your marker or whatever wears off

I think Riot can't really focus less on making new champs because there are different team to remake and create new champs.
