New jungle on-hit item!
Devourer:
Cost: 2050 gold
Build Path: (the same as bloodrazor)
Stats: 40% attack speed
Unique Passive: Basic attacks deal 30 bonus magic damage on-hit vs monsters and vs enemy minions and champs u deal physical damage on-hit equal to 3% of their maximum hp( capped at 75 vs minions).
Unique Passive: Killing enemy champs or pulling of an assist on them or slaining an epic monster, u always own yourself stacks. The max. amount of stacks is 60. However killing large monsters u don't always own yourself stacks. Specifically:
• Blue Sentinals and Red Bramblebacks always own u stacks, plus if u deal a percentage of their max.hp( i don't know exactly how much), u mark them. While they are marked, if u kill them or one of your allies does, u own yourself stacks anyway.
• Rift Scuttler doesn't own u stacks.
• U can only receive stacks by the following large jungle monsters(from both jungles), but under speciffic circumstances:
• Grop
• The biggest raptor
• The biggest Wolf
• The biggest Krug
The circumstances are: U must kill 3 (or 2 at or after 30 stacks) of them in order to gain stacks from them or by slaining an epic monster or by killing an enemy champ or assist on their death. Example u kill three of these mentioned large jungle monsters (or 2 if u have reached 30 stacks or u have passed them), u can own yourself stacks by killing one of them. Did u pull of a kill or assist vs an enemy champ, u can own yourself stacks by killing one of them. Did u slain an epic monster, again, u can own yourself stacks by killing one of them. These stack: basicly based on the number trinities u have killed from the mentioned large monsters, the number of kills and assists towards enemy champs and the number of epic monsters slains , will cause u to be able to receive stacks from these mentioned large jungle monsters for the same numbers respectively. BE CAREFULL THOUGH: killing one of these mentioned large jungle monsters( grop, big raptor, big krug, big wolf) won't count towards the monsters that u need to take down in order to receive a stack from them, IF they have already owned u with stacks.
• Blue Sentinals and Red Bramblebacks will own u with 1 stack if they are killed( with mark or without). • The grop, the big raptor, the big wolf, the big krug will own u, under the mentioned circumstances, with 1 stack. • Elemental Dragons and Rift Herald will own u with 2 stacks. • Elder Dragon and Baron will own with 5 stacks. • Kills and assists towards enemy champs will own u with 1 stack.
Until 30 stacks, with every 1 stack u own yourself 1 bonus magic damage on-hit vs monsters and every 6th stack u receive 5 bonus on-hit magic damage vs enemy champs(2.5 vs minions), 1% attack speed and 1% bonus lifesteal. At 30 stacks u have 30 magic damage on-hit vs enemy champs and monsters(15 vs minions), 5% additional attack speed and lifesteal. Also, at 30 stacks a weird interaction happens: no matter how much stacks u will receive, while u are close to 30(let's say that u are at 29 stacks), u will always receive 30. That seems like u lose stacks, but no. The stacks that u lost will be aďded on top of the stacks that u will gain after 30 stacks. This happens in order to mention u that u reached 30 stacks, cause at that point things are changing as i mentioned. After 30 stacks however, with every 1 stack u receive 1 additional bonus magic damage on-hit vs enemy champs (and monsters of course), but 0.5 vs minions, plus every 6th stack, u receive 1% bonus attack speed, but 2% bonus lifesteal. The stacks are capped at 60 as i mentioned previously.
So at 60 stacks u have a total of 50% attack speed, 15% lifesteal, 60 bonus magic damage on-hit vs enemy champs and monsters (30 vs minions) and an additional physical damage on-hit vs enemy champs and enemy minions equal to 3% of their max.hp( capped at 75 vs minions).
At 60 stacks devourer becomes sated and no longer grants stacks, but with every kill or assist vs enemy champs and epic monster slains, u own yourself some bonus magic damage on-hit vs epic monsters up to 40 bonus magic damage on-hit( so vs baron for example u can deal as much as 100 total bonus magic on-hit from that item alone, onto the deep late game).
Why i think that this jungle attack speed scaling item is better than the old devourer and feral flare and way better than the current bloodrazor:
• First it doesn't promote afk farming and greedy playstyle, because the way that it stacks, makes u, especially in the early game, to do a lot more different things, despite farming the jungle, like ganking(which is very important) and counterjungling a bit. The item is really based on your desitions: either mostly gank or mostly farm or mostly counterjungle. U don't decide things because an item requires u to do certain stuff. That's why it supports all kinds of attack speed focused junglers, especially the farming ones. Let me explain: farming junglers are supposed to mostly farm in the jungle, but not of course never gank. They just put in priority their farm, rather than ganking every single time lanes and snowballing the early game, in order to power up in the late game and be an amazing hyper carry. Currently, bloodrazor currently doesn't offer something to improve this kind of playstyle. That item however impacts those types of junglers more, without making them afk farming. Ganking attack speed junglers however( like xin, vi and nocturne), do sucrifises: like securing a stronger late game by non snowballing the early game( as u can see the early game of that item is weaker than the bloodrazor's currently). However people, with the old attack speed jungle items( old devourer/feral flare) tended to site in their jungle in order to farm it all day, most likely in order to get a power spike. This leaves me to my next point: my item has no powerspike in order to make it attractive to be stacked up as fast is possible. The item slowly builds and scales up from a reasonably weak early game to a meaningfull mid game and a strong late game.
• Second, the item doesn't have this fist or famine playstyle. Either u farm it and u become a god or u don't and u stay super far behind and u are useless for the entire game. The max. hp damage ensures that u will never stay that far behind, as well the balanced 60 on-hit magic damage vs champions into the late game, as well the lifesteal and attack speed ensure that u won't pass the limits of strength and get out of control.
• Third, u may ask me: "why u aren't ok with bloodrazor. It's already a good and balanced item". My answer to that is:
First, bloodrazor promote a playstyle that is similar to the old aegis of the legion aura. At least the aegis of the legion aura made your team very powerfull, even if they didn't feel the impact. However bloodrazor is not all that powerfull in the first place and u don't feel its impact on top of that. Second, it's completely useless vs the current really powerfull cinderhulk junglers. These attack speed on-hit junglers are supposed to have stong mixed damage to duel tanks, as well take them down as fast as they can whenever they don't approach tgeir team in order to do not start a teamfight, as well pick up tankier dudes( like darius and camille) that they are big threats. Bloodrazor's stats and damage are way to easy to itemize defensively against them, especially a tank.
So, what do u think? Plz leave your comments without aggressive purposes and plz make them be meaningfull.
