Ranked Match Scoring

So, I've been playing ranked for a little while now, and I have been doing great personally. Winning my lane in lane phase(hands down), but when the team fights start happening....the rest of my team throws so hard and have fed their lanes so much that it takes miracles to have even a slight chance of winning. Thus, ending in a terrible lose. But when I am on a half way decent team, we more than likely win unless the other team is also somewhat skilled and we deserve the lose. Point is, I think that it is terrible that your ELO goes off your whole teams W/L ratio instead of your own personal performance in matches. So we get a lot of really skilled players stuck in Bronze for almost seemingly forever until they get lucky enough OR makes their own personal team. I really wish Riot would rethink the way they score overall games and I think more people would be more inclined to troll less and play better. Creating a less toxic environment for us all to enjoy. I know this doesn't mean much to some, but it's just my personal thoughts on the matter, from being a long seasoned League player. (The problem especially persists for support maining players)
