Is blitzcrank still worth buying?
With chapions like thresh, who do everything that he does but better, is he still worth it? Or should i just save for thresh, since i already played him when he was free?

Thresh doesn't do what Blitz does. You are misinformed.
Thresh pulls, stuns, AoE slows, lanterns/shield, knocks, and steals souls.
Blitz AoE silences, knocks up, grabs/stuns, has aoe damage, has speed burst, and a tanky passive barrier.
I may have missed some things but this is the jist. Overall Thresh has a bit more utility, while Blitz has more tank.
