Change Thornmail's stats so it doesn't feel like trash to build.

In it's current state it's basically just a way for melee/tanks to apply grievous wounds. Often times Omen is the best choice against auto attackers, but the Cold Steel passive gets wasted when you buy Omen/Thorn as you'd want both to best counter build heavy auto attackers (reduce damage/attack speed/lifesteal).

Currently all I do is build Bramble as it provides the only thing that matters on thornmail, and then immidately build into omen. I'd rather see the cold steel passive on removed and the gold value budgeted towards HP and CDR or just 1 of the two, you can tune the stats if need be but overall the build would feel much better.

Cold Steel just doesn’t make sense on Thornmail, it’s counterintuitive.

They should just remove Warden’s from it and replace the ruby with a gaints and just buff up the health on Thornmail in exchange.

Or possibly give it flat DR equal to the reflect idk.

It's honestly pretty niche because when used against a full AD comp it's amazing. However it's also a little weak because 90% of players don't know to build item 3036 and get past most of the armor

So your saying, it feels bad to build it, but you have to start Bramble, because it feels so good to build it.

I agree the other thing (whatever it's called) kinda sucks, but then you just complete the item.

And as you said, you can just build Bramble, and wait to complete Thornmail until late game.

Thornmail DOES need to be reworked, Into what? Idk, but its obvious that its a trash item that doesnt fit well. I mean hell, it has two unique abilities that are counter-intuitive to eachother. That alone makes it a pretty stupid item.

It is tough to talk about buffing thornmail without making Rammus too strong.
