Why brake Urf instead of fixing the game?

So if you've been playing league for the past couple of seasons you probably know that Urf is now AR Urf. Riot claims that a great number of players leave the game after Urf ends. So in order to maintain a large player base, riot went ahead and made this change fully aware that it would make the game mode less fun. This way while being offered something "exciting" we also return to normal games being glad that the whole thing is over.

I'm here in an attemt to help riot understand that most people don't leave because normal games feel slower compared to urf but because the broken ass state of the game doesn't carry over when playing urf. So, when you come back to it, it feels twice as bad.

I guess the point I'm trying to make here is: Instead of making the fun stuff, less fun... improve the normal game. Great examples of what people hate coming back to are:

  1. Vlad's "dominance" as you like to say in top, mid AND bot.
  2. Lying about bruiser changes. Still nothing, tanks just sit there with a 1000g flip off (hint: it's f*cking bramble vest)

That's it from me, I'd like to hear some thoughts and I hope (REALLY hope) somebody can prove my points wrong.

URF is a fun, but bad game mode. If people are allowed to pick what they want, they will immediately pick the most busted champions, and the champion pool will be around 15-20 of "PLAY THIS OR LOSE." That's not fun. The mode is intended to be for fun, but people are assholes and they shit on fun by trying to be the most aggressive tryhards. That's why it has to be random - the randomness allows for some diversity, and lets people get to at least sometimes play goofy shit without the 100% fear that the enemy team will be nothing but the OP champs.
