A Buff Idea for Ryze

I've always enjoyed Ryze as a character. This last rework was IMO successful, although Riot had to tune his damage on the empowered q and make changes elsewhere, as he was too strong.

Now he sits floating around a 40% winrate and to many he is seen as viable only in pro play.

So here comes my buff idea.

**The distance his E (Spell Flux) spreads should be increased. **

Nothing crazy, but it would help tremendously. In lane it's hard to get the E to spread vs. any ranged matchups, or against players who know what they are doing. This would allow Ryze to trade a bit safer, farm a bit safer when behind, and have more presence in team fights, without buffing his damage in any way. Thoughts?
