Trying new roles

I'm a jungle main and regardless of what lane I try to play the other person in lane is usually much better than me. Trying a new role in this game is extremely tilting for me. The common response that I would expect is "The best way to get better is to play people better than you." I understand this concept, but there is also a point where you keep getting stomped so hard in lane that you can't learn anything constructive. This is the point where I'm at (been wanting to learn ADC). I usually am getting pounded over and over. I'm Gold 5 JG MMR, but my ADC is probably bronze 5. Laning against other golds, plats, and even high silver is just tilting.

TL;DR: Any suggestions on how to learn a new role that you are incredibly bad at?

Start a smurf where you never play jungle, that way you end up against people of your skill-level in other roles due to mmr. Well, they will likely still be somewhat better at the role, but your macro will be better.

Never play jungle in normals again. Just gradually tank your mmr by losing against more experienced players in their role till it evens out for you.
