I've played alot of Leo since S3; ranked and normals and I play her a lot in teambuilder. In these couple years playing her I don't remember ever having too many mirror matches. Tonight I had 3 in a row so far, did something happen to Leo or the game that is causing more Leo play that I missed?

I just don't see how she's in a better place now than she was in the assassin meta. Right now there's a lot of top and jungle tanks so why not pick a more utility focused support instead of another tank? The only thing I can think of is Ekko being released. A lot of people are taking him top and jungle leaving a need for another tank.

Shes a tank son what dont you get. Utility supports<Tank supports. Shes been popular and strong for a couple months now
