I am curious because I wanted to start playing him more often when I get Mid. The one and only game I had with him was against a Lux, which I did well for a first timer. 7/6/14 178 CS 13k gold @ 39:50.
Is there any tips to tricks to playing Xerath that would improve my plays?
Edit: The CS was pretty bad for the time allotted into the game.
There are people who do his job better right now... Mainly 
but he's still viable
I haven't seen a Xerath if a long time but the last time I had one on my team he literally ate an Annie alive.
is very hard to fight against as 
, one of my hardest opponents. A good can poke me safely from out of my range and stop my strong early game.
He's good if you can land skill shots and manage mana correctly
Last game I played him I went 18/0/13, so it's good enough :p
He is very strong IF you are skilled enough with him, and the problem is that he's very hard to master. But once you get there, you can destroy the enemy team ^^ Just don't firstpick him or you're dead...
